The Ephemeral Puzzle

Before leaving for a few weeks to reside in the Center of the Enlightenment (Florence,Italy), it was imperative to make some puzzle boxes that open in mysterious ways.
Sooo, thanks to the folks at San Francisco Center for the Book, we set up the letterpress to print 40 little boxes that will contain surprises, circular multi-language thank yous, friendly missives and flat ephemera to be distributed randomly and spontaneously throughout the city. I'll stick around to watch peoples' reactions. A photograph or two might be taken, but capturing curiosity is a tough assignment.
