Past the Grosser Aletschgletscher

Apparently Winston Churchill stayed in this castle near Reideralp when he was a young lad. So we headed off to check out the tea room and turrets. Coming back, there were a few trees to hug in Schutzgebeit Aletschwald -Switzerland's oldest forest.
Because of the free range cows, there are many fresh mitschten hoffe (cow patties) along the road. Evidently firecrackers placed in the wet ones are a local initiation right.
This, again, explains A LOT.
