FATHER’S DAY on RABBIT ISLAND
As you probably know, if you say "Isle of Dogs" or "Isle of Japan" very fast, it sounds like "I love dogs" or " I love Japan." Today we headed out from Hiroshima on a ferry into the archipelago of Japan's 860 islands in the Sea of Japan (320 of which are inhabited). Our first stop was RABBIT ISLAND - clearly a place for families to be inspired by nature, vistas and the possibility of population growth. Japan is in a world of hurt with declining population and extended life expectancy. Take some tips from Thumper, Roger, Flopsey, Mopsey, Cottontail and Peter.
